### How to Talk with AI

Six months ago, I couldn’t write a line of code. I wasn’t building agents. I wasn’t stringing together logic trees or creating complex automations.

What I did have was curiosity—and the ability to talk.

Not tech talk. Just real talk. The kind that connects dots and moves ideas forward. That’s when I realized prompting isn’t coding. It’s communicating.

It’s knowing how to ask the right question at the right depth.

And just like great conversations build relationships, great prompts build results. Whether I’m trying to build a LinkedIn post, summarize a 30-page PDF, or spin up an AI agent that prospect-hunts while I sleep—it all starts with how I speak to the tool.

Prompts are the new interface. And “talking with AI” is less about jargon and more about clarity, context, and creativity. You don’t need to be a dev to get value out of these tools. You just need to treat them like a teammate. A smart, fast-learning, slightly literal teammate.

Here’s what’s worked for me:

* Start with the goal in mind. Not “write me a caption,” but “help me speak to crypto startups about onboarding fraud without sounding like I’m selling.”

* Give it tone. Tell the AI to sound like you—or like the version of you you’re aiming to become.

* Iterate. AI isn’t magic. But it’s close if you’re willing to go back-and-forth and refine.

* Don’t be vague. “Make this better” won’t get you far. Try: “Make this more confident, less formal, and punchier.”

### 3 Things to Remember When Prompting AI:

✅ Specificity wins. The more detail you give (tone, audience, format), the better the result.

✅ AI reflects you. If you sound hesitant, robotic, or too vague—it probably will too

✅ You’re the strategist. AI is the builder. You still set the vision and pace.

### Try Saying This to Sound Smarter, Sharper, and More Like You:

* “Make this sound like something I’d say out loud—confident but casual.”

* “Refine this to speak to startups who care about speed and growth, not buzzwords.”

* “Push this toward storytelling. Less data, more impact.”

* “Give me 3 punchier versions of this that feel like they’d hit on LinkedIn.”

* “Make this tone more street-smart, less corporate.”
